Who we are

  Jed Taylor, owner of Peoria Home Builders and Taylor Construction & Remodeling, LLC has been building and remodeling Central Illinois homes since he was a teenager.

  He loved helping his dad work on renovating rentals and always had a passion for carpentry, and dreamed of one day owning his own company. He transformed his dream into a reality when he formed his first company in 1997, Taylor Home Improvements.

  Jed has been serving Central Illinois property owners by transforming their home renovation dreams into reality. Specializing in residential home remodeling, Jed has a reputation for treating every customer as part of his extended family.

  Jed spent years in management in the engineering industry and also worked for his remodeling company on the side.

Following in their dad’s footsteps, Jed’s sons, Blaine and Brady have become carpenters as well.

Therefore, in 2016, Jed decided to take his company to the next level and formed Taylor Construction & Remodeling, LLC and Peoria Home Builders, with his sons as part owners of the company.
